We have booked an accessible mini-suite on the Regal for November because my wife had a stroke.  She is able to walk just fine, but cannot bend her leg in order to get into a bathtub/shower combo.

We found out that our MA mini stateroom was more expensive than a standard mini MB, but weren't charged the additional, because there are no MB staterooms that are accessible.

My wife also cannot use the tub/shower combo because of mobility issues. Our solution is that we never book a mini-suite on Princess. We book an oceanview, a balcony, or a full suite - but never a mini-suite. Then we have a walk-in shower - a large one in the suite or a small one in the oceanview or balcony.

If I were you I'd be demanding to talk to your CVP's supervisor.  My CVP said they must do this per ADA.

Can I ask what a CVP is? I booked through princess's website link for a cruise specialist, unfortunately she has given me a LOT of bad information and is very slow to respond. I'm not sure who to contact about this, I'd love any info you can give for me to rectify this situation. My brain is making me feel shy to ask them about it but i should at least try.

This is what I received just yesterday - that our accessible cabin needed had cleared the wait list! Also attached was a form about our accessible needs, not asking what/why.

My ta handled the whole process, as she always does!

CVP is what they used to call them or still do, not sure. Cruise vacation planers, first one they assigned me was also useless. I have had several problems with princess in the past and had been in contact with Ms. Swartz so when I had problems with that cvp she assigned me the one I have now who has been very good.
