cruiseaholic78 Posted April 19 #2 Share Posted April 19 (edited) Welcome to CC. I would suggest you join your roll call, I can’t add link as you didn’t mention which ship/date. Edited April 19 by cruiseaholic78
Divvi Posted April 19 Author #3 Share Posted April 19 Sorry what does a roll call mean? We are going by Royal Caribbean cruise from Vancouver.
AKStafford Posted April 19 #4 Share Posted April 19 Icy Strait Point is a great spot for a whale watching cruise. Glacier Winds is who I'd recommend. After you disembark in Seward, how much time do you have before your flight out of Anchorage?
cruiseaholic78 Posted April 19 #5 Share Posted April 19 It is where people on your actual cruise meet up online to discuss their plans. If you post the date and name of your ship I will add the link.
Divvi Posted April 19 Author #6 Share Posted April 19 @AKStafford We do not have much time in Seward unfortunately. We are heading straight to the airport.

Northern Aurora Posted April 19 #9 Share Posted April 19 Welcome to Cruise Critic! Without knowing your interests it is hard to make specific recommendations. Browse through this forum and you will find a number of ideas. Also use goggle to find the respective visitors bureaus of your ports of call.

Keep in mind some of these can run upwards of $250-$500 a person and can sell out fast. What you can also do is use Google. In the search box enter something like "Top 10 things to do in Skagway". Some cities like Skagway, Juneau, and even Icy Strait will have at least a dozen or two different excursions. I've cruised Alaska 5x, and am booked next year on a back-to-back (two cruises one after another). My interests are most definitely going to be different than yours. Some of the shore excursions that I have already booked are ones that others wouldn't at all be interested in. 😁 Edited April 19 by dmwnc1959
