Renewal of Vows

We are Elite and have not sailed Princess in many years. We were married on the Grand Princess in 2000 and are sailing again in 2025 to celebrate and renew our vows. I have tried calling Princess for more information, but give up after being on hold. It's nice that they give you the number of callers ahead of you, but it seems to be fake. I have trickled down from over 50 to about 2 or 3 and then after another 10 minutes, it went back to over 50 on more than one occasion.

 

The package online seems to be vague, and shows for 2 people. We will have about 12 family members total.

If anyone has experience renewal of vows on Princess, please share.

 

Is the chapel always open?

We would be fine doing this on our own if that is an option.

Even though you are doing a vow renewal, it sounds like one of the wedding packages may be more in line with what you are seeking, especially since you have guests. I’m sure they would offer vow renewal with these packages as well.

None of those make any financial sense. We are all sailing with Premier, so most of that is covered. We were just hoping to use the chapel on our own.

Hey there. I am doing an on-our-own vow renewal on the Grand Princess on May 1 !  We talked to the wedding department, and after some negotiating they were willing to allow us to do the vow renewal package and add on guests (with a limit on the number of guests, I don’t recall how many). There is a form online to book a date for the event and that’s how I got in contact with them.

They had a mass vow renewal on the Sky transatlantic last month.

Uh oh ! I've got to keep the patter away from my wife that day or she'll drag me to that gathering. 😉
