Saint Greg's Carnival Horizon ABC - Live - April 27, 2024

Recommended Posts

They have a free food party here every year called Kaya Kaya. I slipped up and didn’t take a picture of the barrel art we were standing under for shade but I got this tree.

I stopped in a couple places by the Sorobon beach. Not really beach where I was. This seems to be the place to go for windsurfing.

And there’s this hang out bar which goes right into the water. It was packed.

This has local artwork and crafts you can purchase. In the last picture you can see a finger. At this point I was told you can’t take pictures in here. Too bad. Maybe I could sell something for them.

some of it is was nice. Some of it was ridiculous. Like something I could put together at hobby lobby priced at $750.

That yellow building is one of the oldest. 1708. Remember that admiral lived in a yellow building and the governor lives in a yellow building. The colors were for status. Yellow is the elites.

I told Rayay it means something different to us. On the next tour I find out sushi means garbage. So you don’t want to call your dushi sushi.

This place has stuff from a few artists. The guy that owns and works here makes these items out of calabash. Same thing maracas are made from. On my next tour we’ll see household items made from it.

These purses were popular with the women in the group. He sold a couple. The small ones are $10. The big ones are 30 or 40 depending on the material  they are made by Curacao’s

most famous designer.

The tour was supposed to be over at 12. It’s not over yet. My original tour was 12:30. The one I have now is 1pm. It’s probably a good thing my 12:30 was

canceled.
