Suitcases?

We’re going to be cruising Saga for the first time, on the Spirit of Adventure. 
 

I have a question about suitcases, do we have to find somewhere in the cabin to store them, or will crew take them away for storage if we ask?

We store ours under the bed.

If you have loads your steward will take them away and store them.

Lots of room under the bed.  Can then be used as extra storage for laundry, shoes, heavy jackets etc. if needed

I'll endorse that comment.
Clothes storage in the standard cabins is not the most spacious (adequate, but not vast) so if you take a lot of clothes to cover all eventualities (like me) then the suitcases can make handy storage for things you don't need yet. Plenty of space under the bed.

Which cruise are you on?  I am on Spirit of Adventure 26thJune Idyllic Norway.  Was on this ship last July for my first cruise with Saga. Went to Iceland and had a fantastic time.  I travel solo and met up with some lovely people and am travelling to  Norway with one lady from the group I met last year. Saga certainly know how to look after you and when you take into account all the extras they are very good value. The ship is amazing and  I'm sure you will have a great time.

My clamshell-style suitcase goes under the bed, open, and is an easy spot to stash dirty laundry.
