How long to do a "quick" mud volcano stop - there and back?

Our ship docks at 8am.  We would  like to do a different private tour that starts at 10:30am.  Is it possible to go to the volcano, do the mud, then get back to port for 10:30?  And..any recos for a private driver that could take us to volcano and back?

Not doable.

It's 60 minutes, minimum, one way to the mud baths - that's assuming no real traffic, minimal cruise traffic,  that you're the very first off, that there's no delays in docking or clearance, etc.  The mud baths themselves, 30 minutes, minimum, to get in, spread the mud, let it dry, get back in, rinse off, etc.

It's basically not doable.  You need 4 or more hours to comfortably make it there and back, along with actual time at the mud baths...

You'll just have to come back again!

We looked into the various water taxi options as a faster transportation alternative, but still not enough time to squeeze that in for you as reedprincess noted.

If someone else is looking for a water taxi option, Nio Rose would have been our choice if we hadn’t changed our plans…
