Cruising from Vancouver

Recommended Posts

This will be our first cruise sailing from Vancouver.  It doesn’t depart till 10:30 pm.  Can anyone tell me what time we should be able to board?  I don’t see it in my travel summary.

They used to show your boarding window in the travel summary, just above the itinerary.  Now, they tell you to check your boarding pass on the App for it.

Don’t know whose brainy idea that was?  You don’t get that QR code/Boarding pass until a few days before sailing.  People do like to plan. SMH

Yes, I remember that!  I do like to plan as we are staying in a hotel the night before with a noon check out time.  The ship is coming from Alaska with a 9:30 am arrival time.  There is a 1:15 activity listed on the journey so I’m hoping we can board by 1 pm.

The reason for late departure could be due to the tides.  There should be some guest’s who’ve recently sailed, that would give you an idea of the boarding window.

I’d bet the checkin window is earlier in the day.

I couldn’t find a “Live” thread out there for you to ask.  But, hopefully, some one will chime in.

We were on sapphire princess in June.  We stayed at Pan Pacific and walked to the cruise area at 10, and were onboard before 11.

What time did the ship leave Vancouver?
