Jellyfish at The Baths?

I noticed in a cc member's pics that there is a warning sign about jellyfish.

Did anyone have any problems with jellyfish while going through the rocks and snorkling around The Bath area?

If so, what time of year was it? Are they more prevalent during certain times of the year.

I really would not like to encounter jellyfish if I don't have to. ;)

Thanks in advance for your answers!

We were there in Jan. and someone on the snorkel tour got stung on the arm by one and she tried to rub it off and it stung her even more. Someone from the ship had a waterproof safe around her neck and she had a Benadryl with her. They gave it to the women right away. They were going to take her to a clinic on shore but ended up pouring vinegar on the stings and put ice from the cooler they had on the tour boat. I was a little worried when we went in the water at the next port.
