Luggage Storage Space on Voyager Class: Is It Ample?

Are the beds high enough to store those mega rollers? Or closet space? Or will the steward store it for you?

Yes most of the time. Under the bed that is.

No problem. We never see our suitcases until it's time to pack to go back home. For us there is plenty of storage spaces in each cabin.

We've never had a problem storing our suitcases under the beds and one of our suitcases is HUGE!

DH and I have always had enough space for "super sized" luggage. Trust me when I say that I am the reigning "Queen of Overpacking".:eek: :D

 

Large pullmans/garment bag under the bed...duffle bag or carry ons in the closet.;)

The suitcases slide under the bed, which allows you to live out of your suitcase if you wanted to for the week. There's lots of drawers available, and many shelves as well inside the ample sized closet.

we have never had a problem storing our bags under the bed on any RCI or other cruiseline's ships. In a few instances we had to open the bag and lay it flat before it would fit, but that still was no big deal. If you should encounter a problem,your room steward will store it for you and return it to you near the end of your cruise.:)

Some sets of luggage nest so you actually end up with one large bag that can go pretty much anywhere.

We have been very impressed with the amount of storage in the RCI ships. On our Explorer cruise we packed the obligatory over-the-door shoe holder, but never needed it, so we left it at home on our Jewel cruise. We had storage space to spare.

 

As far as suitcases are concerned, we unpacked as soon as we got our luggage on both cruises, nested the luggage together & slid it right under the bed - no problem!:cool: Our stateroom always felt roomy and uncluttered. My DD & niece, however, chose to live out of their suitcases, had them spread out all over the sofa and you couldn't even walk into their cabin. I felt sorry for the steward! Meanwhile their closets remained empty..........:rolleyes:

 

Our next cruise is on the Monarch. We will have a JS, so I'm presuming we will still have plenty of space. It's also a shorter cruise, so we won't have as much "stuff"!;)
