jgsi Posted August 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Thank you for sharing your beautiful pictures. We have been on Empress 4 times to Bermuda. Without a doubt, one of our favorite ships and favorite place to go. Please tell us how you created the cool black and white/color photos.
jsemonik Posted August 12, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted August 12, 2006 Those pictures were post processed on Photoshop Elements while still on the ship. You need to desaturate and then use a layer mask. There are plenty of better explanations of "How to" on the Adobe website.

wbrumel Posted August 13, 2006 #15 Share Posted August 13, 2006 Those are GREAT pix. I'd like the one of the Empress to use as my desktop. I copied the pic but then it was small and centered on my desktop. When I tried to blow it up, the resolution was terrible. Can you email it to me at wbrumel@optonline.net. Thanks from another Jersey guy (Monmouth Co).

familycruzer Posted August 15, 2006 #23 Share Posted August 15, 2006 After being on Crown Dynasty and the Horizon then the VOS there is something to be said for the smaller ships. I really enjoy them much more than the mega liners. Of course, look what I am booked on, the FOS. Oh well, when my kids are off and on their own, I can make my way through all the smaller ships.
