kimanjo Posted July 8, 2004 #27 Share Posted July 8, 2004 On formal nights I dress in a long gown and put on my high heels---ouch! These high heels take me as far as the dining room and then straight back to my cabin, where I change and put on a pair of flip flops. So, for the rest of the evening while I walk around in my long sequined gown you can hear the flup-flup-flup of the flops. This reminds me of a cruise we went on where hubby forgot to pack any footwear except for his Nikes and a pair of beat-up Sperry topsiders. He had also forgotten to pack socks. So he went sockless in the Topsiders to dinner, and in the daytime he wore my Peds (with the poms cut-off) inside his Nikes.

Baroo Posted July 8, 2004 #29 Share Posted July 8, 2004 I agree, white socks are bad, but i think black socks would be worse, least in my opinion.
fivebucs Posted July 9, 2004 #30 Share Posted July 9, 2004 Jon. Sandals are A-OK at dinner but you really need to update the style. I've got a pair of Ocean Pacific that are sooo good looking and comfortable, check out the new styles. sb;)
