LHP Posted September 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2006 A tip though....these hairdryers have a button that has to be held "constantly" in order to work. It is the most annoying thing, but I understand the reasoning as a step in fire prevention. I have seen folks use everything from rubber bands to a velco strip to keep that button down and still have "that thumb" free for styling.
jckvpa0 Posted September 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2006 If you have really long or thick hair I would consider bringing your own hair dryer.
osiebosie Posted September 5, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2006 This was one of my tips in my Glory review. Bring your own hairdryer. Not only do you have to hold the button down, it is permanently attached to the drawer. I have short hair, and struggled with that blasted thing during the whole cruise. I can't imagine having long hair and using that dryer. Bring your own hairdryer. Shay p.s. CCL could make a killing if they sold decent hairdryers in one of their "mall" stores! All the women would go buy one. What an idea! I should get just 1% for that one...
