I think I was home a week before I got to the lawn... post cruise depression :p

 

There were four of those boats - two on each side with a machine gun in the front manned and ready. There were two people on a waverunner that came out of one of the side channels, I am sure to watch the ship sail away - they were promptly intercepted at gunpoint and turned back - I was amazed.

 

In Galveston in May, we had one little Coast Guard boat escort us out, and in December in Fort Lauderdale, I don't remember seeing any, but we were in a parade of about 5 ships all leaving one after another, so I am sure that while they were on duty, it was not as obvious as when we left Miami.

 

We were the only ship departing, there was an RCL ship in port with us, but they showed no sign of departing any time soon when we left they were still tied up firm.

 

So not sure if it was a new procedure or if they were just escorting me off US soil - again... I have been deported so many times now, I am just sick of it;)
