yogimax Posted October 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2006 Why not call RCCL and ask? They would have the most recent information as opposed to anyone here.

bbrad8 Posted October 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2006 sue.young: We were on the Jewel TA in September. See you are on Brilliance which believe (if memory serves corectly) leaves out of Spain. What we did was to use 'bank' ATM's for all of our Euro (and GBP) needs. Bank ATM's were readily available at the airport as well as all ports. No worries as to who 'owned' the ATM, etc this way. Worked great and we had found (thru our research) that this was the best conversion rate available! Just make sure you tell your bank (and CC companies BTW) you will be traveling in Europe. As for the exact exchange rate, as we did not use this service, can't give an accurate rate (and won't list what don't know as correct info). However, be aware this is a very nice 'profit center' for RCI. Also, please note that the conversation desk is NOT available at all times. This portion of the Pursers Desk was open very limited hours (believe it was 3-5 hours per day, no exceptions)! Enjoy your cruise!!!!!!!!!! phabric Posted October 25, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 25, 2006 Since we will be taking ship tours and only in port for only a few hours, how much should I exhange. If we purchase anything I could put it on credit card but would need cash for tip for tour guide.
