Dining room water

Is the water served in the dining room and other eating venues bottled water or tap water? I've heard that the tap water can make you bloated (not all the salt removed) so I'm trying to avoid that.

Ummmm......we've always drank the table water and I've never noticed any "bloat" caused by the water.....now eating too much, that causes bloat.

You can buy bottled water, but the ice water is from the tap. We've never had any problem with bloating--the water is desalinated--the salt is removed in that process! Just like a pot of salted boiling water on your stove, the salt remains in the pot, while the steam is pure water.

I would imagine that most folks who "bloat" do so from eating a wee bit too much!

The tap water seems fine – the food seems heavily salted to me. Perhaps that contributes to the bloated feeling.
