Rental car question

We will be on the Majesty OS on Mar. 16th. Flying into Fort Lauderdale and thinking about renting a car. Does anyone know if there are any companies with drop off points for the rentals near the Port of Miami??

I've also been trying to get an answer on this. I know that Avis has a dropoff, but you need to take a cab from there. Anyone - what company has a dropoff location near the Miami port with a free shuttle to the port????

Just back from cruising on Triumph. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale and rented from Enterprise. We dropped off the car in Miami at the downtown Hyatt. We took a cab from the Hyatt to the cruise port for $9.70. Call Enterprise to do this, you can't book it this way on line.

Thrifty, Alamo, Dollar, and Hertz all do these rentals, and all have shuttles.

 

Hertz and Alamo were the most frequent, and Alamo had the largest buses.

It is an abbreviation for Hertz Local Edition.

 

A HLE is a Hertz office located in a city or suburban area, and not adjacent to an airport.
