Dawn Pizza??

Could someone please tell me where the pizza place is on the Dawn and if it is open on embarkation day. I have looked on the deck plans but don't see it. I need my pizza and beer. :D

It's called La Scala and it's on Dolphin Deck (8) in the Atrium. It's a sit down dining venue and it should be open for dinner the first evening.

Its really good pizza. We also had it delivered to our room a couple of times, as well as eating there.

It is very good as it is made to order. They don't have it ready made like on most other ships.

I just checked my patter from my April 2006 cruise and La Scala Pizzeria was opened for dinner on embarkation night. The hours listed are 6pm - Midnight. I do remember that they close at 12 midnight as I joined my DH one night at 11:55pm and even though they had started cleaning up, they graciously insisted on making me a pizza anyways. It was delicious!

I believe we just ordered it from room service. They told us it might take an hour, but it was there in 15 minutes!!

Yes, the Dawn's Atrium is decks 5 through 8.

It should be open the first night--I remember having a great personal size pizza and tiramesi for desert. Very nice atmosphere too.

Man, pizza and the casino right next to each other. If there is a bar close and I am sure there is I may never go to any other deck. At least the wife will know where to find me. :D
