Just a question ........

If you have sailed on TP,

when was the best time for CC members to meet

and where..........

Thinking about sailaway from Papeete,

around pool bar........

but when do they have lifeboat drill?

On our cruise last January (Marquesan itinerary) sailaway was 5:30am.

 

Although the memory is fading, the lifeboat drill was on the second day because the 1st day was in Moorea.

Hi CC Friends,

 

Jun 16-26 TP Sailaway was at 5:30PM on second day leaving Papeete at the Pool Bar, right after the lifeboat drill... that worked great! Of 32 CCs on the boards, 28 people were present at our sailaway. Location was the best...plenty of room to mingle and nice views of Tahiti receding.

 

 

There was often other entertainment on the pool stage here as well...dancers, calypso band, etc.

We met at the pool bar but quickly determined that we wanted to go up a deck or 2 for better sail away viewing. Our CC leader wore flashing light in her hair which was a great thing for recognition!
