Tables for 2.

We often ask for a particular table for two and it's always reserved for us. We eat early so they accommodate us. We've done this several times with NCL and it's never been a problem. Talk to the headwaiter if you want a particular table. We had a port side table for two at the window by the kitchen entrance. We asked for a 6 p.m. sitting.

On our second NCL cruise, there were just two of us. We never had any problem getting a table for two. We just turned up at the dining room when we felt like eating and asked for one - longest wait to be seated was a little over 5 minutes. Note: you may be asked to share a table but it is your choice whether you do so or not. We were asked once or twice but preferred to dine alone.

Only once have we experienced a problem getting a table for two. It was on formal night (also lobster night). We were asked if we would like to share a table and we chose to do so. We were glad we did because for that one night it was nice to share conversation with two other couples on the cruise.

we never had a problem getting a table for two. even though it's freestyle cruising, you can always make a reservation in whatever dining room/restaurant you would like to be in that evening, so that way, you never have to wait, and you are guaranteed a table for two.

What if you are two people that would like to share with others? My mom and I are going and would like to eat with different people throughout the cruise. We figure it will be nice to talk to other people and we don't want to get sick of each other. :D

When you enter the dining room, you simply tell the hostess that you would like to share a table with others. She will either: seat you at a table that was recently started with others already there; or seat you at a new table with others to come.

I just returned from a trip on the Pearl. We had very few problems getting a table (and there were 4 of us), but we did get turned away from La Cucina one evening, as did a couple seeking a table for 2. You will always be able to get a table for 2 if you are flexible about where you dine, but if you want to go to a particular restaurant, it is best to have a reservation.
