Catalina Posted April 21, 2007 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2007 Hi, Can we bring our own wine or champagne aboard on the Oceania ships? Non-alcohol beer? It seems like every line has a different policy. Thanks!
Rare LHT28 Posted April 21, 2007 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2007 yes! For use in your cabin or pay corkage fee if you take the wine to dining rooms.
shedevil Posted April 21, 2007 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2007 O lets you bring on wine and such. They do ask that you don't drink alcohol you brought on board in public places, like taking your bottle of wine up to the pool deck. They charge $20 corkage in the restuarants but we found that sometimes we got charged other times we did not. You don't have to smuggle your stuff in water bottles or other tricks with Oceania. The security officer on our last trip would ask us about the wine we had found in town and gave us a great tip on a lovely wine shop in Cadiz. digby Posted April 21, 2007 #4 Share Posted April 21, 2007 I just spent 5 days at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. As we were paying $14.50 per martini and wine began near $50. a bottle I could not help but think of the times I've read how expensive alcohol is on "O." I've never agreed since I generally pay more in any fine restaurant or resort on land.
