Well, I'm in LSU country . . . . Shame we didn't get to play USC in a real championship game a couple years back, instead of being thrown Oklahoma to beat up on. ;)

Three months is more than enough. Gave my wife a cruise one year, she had 3 days to prepare. Still made it.

Guys can just pack and go in a heartbeat. I think most women like to have time to do whatever shopping and planning they need. I don't want her stressing about being able to find the right dress or swimsuit.

 

I need to send my DH to you for training! You are THE BEST! Wow. If I had a week's notice, I'd make sure I was ready.... of course, it could cost a TAD more :eek: because I might be finishing my shopping in the first few ports but I'd be on the ship come LOW or HIGH water!

 

What a great idea. Now, think about how you're going to present it to her. Do you have a theme named after the ship or make it a scavenger hunt for her to try to figure out the ports of call of what?! :cool:

Yep, Sooner born and bred, lived there for the first 24 years of life, and just moved to North Dakota this past fall. :)

 

Although I LOVE my Sooner football, I'm not nearly as obsessive as the other 99% of the state. :)

Thank you for the nice comments. I feel that 20 years of marriage is special. Especially since we got married young. I want to make sure DW has an incredible and memorable trip (including the preparation time). I will keep your tips of how to present it to her in mind. When the time gets closer, I'll probably put out post asking for some creative suggestions. Those will be fun to read. ha ha
