gescn Posted June 3, 2007 #1 Share Posted June 3, 2007 I was just looking through 100s of Rhapsody of the Seas pictures on Webshots, and one of them showed a flowrider. I didn't think there was one on Rhapsody. The picture was dated 3-4-07. Does anyone know?

Does anyone know? Goodness, no, only the new Freedom class ships have a flowrider. ;) If you post a link to this photo, we shall all rush over there and look! gescn Posted June 3, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted June 3, 2007 http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2165260270025815597QpkWHo I hope this links to the picture I'm referencing. Merion_Mon, have you sailed on the Rhapsody recently? Please don't think I'm being rude, but is your information coming from the RCCL website (as was mine) or from a recent personal experience? I just sailed Rhapsody 4/22-4/29 - there is definitely NOT a flowrider.

Merion_Mon, have you sailed on the Rhapsody recently? Please don't think I'm being rude, but is your information coming from the RCCL website (as was mine) or from a recent personal experience? You aren't being rude AT ALL....no worries there. Look carefully at the picture you linked to, or better yet, the next one in the album: http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2943866920025815597ZyrMDU This is some place on land. See the cement flooring and cement pilings holding up the surf simulator?
Coralc Posted June 3, 2007 #6 Share Posted June 3, 2007 I think that was from "Dave's " cruise. :D Freedom & Liberty, RCCL's brand new ships have Flowriders. To the best of anyone's knowledge...they have not been retrofitted on older Vision class ships. :)
FitzLA Posted June 3, 2007 #7 Share Posted June 3, 2007 There is no Flowrider on Rhapsody. Only on Freedom class ships. I am guessing that this was an excursion somewhere or a pre/post cruise stay somewhere. But I can assure you there is no flowrider on Rhapsody, or any other RCI ship except Freedom, Liberty and soon to be Independence.

I agree - Definitely not the Flowrider... this is what they Flowrider would look like - even if it had been retrofitted (which it hasn't): http://travel.webshots.com/photo/2297494820032405699sHIBkw
gescn Posted June 3, 2007 Author #10 Share Posted June 3, 2007 Okay, I'm convinced! I didn't think there was one--but I also didn't look carefully enough at the pictures! Thanks to everyone for your posts.

We're sailing again in 3 weeks. I'll update. The answer has been given, there is NO flowrider on Rhapsody. I was just on her in May and believe me it was not there. That photo was made in Grand Cayman, which was also determined. The OP is good now.. LOL No worries.
