Cruising on the Valor

Found this at another cruise review site and thought I would check with members here. Is it true that there are no non-smoking bars on the Valor? Any other advice/recommendations for cruising on the Valor?

 

Cons: not a single NON SMOKING BAR!!!!!!!!!! For non smoking people like us, it was horrible!!!

 

room was very clean every day. Wonderful bed. Overall rating: instead of excellent, just average because THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE NON SMOKING BAR ON THE SHIP!!! For non smoking people horrible.

There are none that I am aware of. Not sure about the other carnival ships though. We are non smokers and although we loved the piano bar it was probably the smokiest of all.

I sailed on the Valor in April of 2006. I usually hate smoke, and just don't remember being bothered by it.

 

The Piano Bar was deserted the week that I was on.

Well, there are always the pool bars with fresh air......and a minimum of smoke in the atrium bars.......

Thanks for the response - I know we could get lucky and have a week with few smokers but then again it could be full of heavy smokers. Will have to make a decision.
