How do you feel about dressing up for formal night?

At first i liked the formal nights. Great excuse to buy something nice. But now, after 7 cruises, I really LOVE the other nights where I am just comfortable. It is also easier to pack the casual ware. But i do go, and I do bring the 2 formals. Now I just bought a great pair of dress pants with the flowing overlays over the pant legs and thought this would be fun and different from a gown. But now I need to find the perfect silk top....LOL!

This was my poll on the formal night issue from a while back. It was roughly 2/3 of respondants who really like formal night, less than 10% who wish is would go away and the rest in the inbetween categories of not being big fans of it, but not really bothered by it either.
