Towel Animals!!

I saved all of ours on the HAL Noordam all week and set them on the table. Here's a picture of the final "CLAN" as I called them. The last night of the cruise we walked into the cabin and we were very surprised and disappointed there was no towel animal.:( We figured the steward must be busy. Until Mom walked into the bathroom and let out a scream to see the monkey hanging above the toilet!:D I'm also including some pics of towel animals we got while at a hotel in Cancun. It's the only time I've seen them on land!!

A cabin steward did that?? I would have been screaming as we leave our lights low and it would have scared the heck out of me....lol.

These are all great... Need to go through my selection and see if I have any not posted..... But I have never seen or heard of them doing people.... That's wild.... At least now I won't be as scared knowing they do that....... Would have been a different story if I did not know....lol.....

How about Naughty Napkin animals? We had a jokester on our Valor cruise.... He went nuts over the napkin animals.....

 

Not sure what this is... Looks like a duck or goose face but not sure.

Don't think we got any dirty towel animals from our last voyage on the NCL Spirit out of NOLA. But we had a great steward. He made a cute little mouse for my roomate & one for me. I had left 4 quarters on the nightstand & returned to find the gator on my bed!

Hi Everyone,

 

You guys are so lucky to get towel animals on your cruises. Here in Australia, sometimes we are, it just depends on the cabin steward. On our recent Pacific Dawn cruise, we were lucky to have a pretty good steward who made a couple for us, but on our recent cruise, towel animals were non-existent. The steward did, however, make my pyjamas into a nice shape.

Does Celebrity usually do towel animals? I didn't get a single one when I went on my Spring Break cruise. My husband and I will be sailing next week on the Infinity to Alaska, and I'd love to have towel animals since it's my hubbie's first cruise.

 

If I can figure out how to post photos, I'll share, too.

Nah... my honeymoon! We gave up the towel animal from the first night, but kept the rest. We put the animal on our bar the second night and it was left the next morning when our steward cleaned our room. So that night we put the two on the bed for a pic and put them on the bar... continued all the way till the end. Or not quite the end... no towel animal the last night. In fact they were all gone the last night!

 

Love the towel animals! It does add to the cruise IMO.
