We unintentionally booked our cruise for Super Bowl weekend. This is a 7 day cruise and of course Sunday is a sea day. Does anyone know if this is the first formal night?

I am thinking there is no way DD & I am going to pry DH, DS/DIL, SIL away from the game to go play "dress up" for formal night. I am sure the food in the buffet will be good but I sure hate to miss formal dining.

The GRAND is so wonderful you will be happy with anything

but

did you check to see if they deliver Dining Room food from the menu as Room Service? It'd be a shame to miss lobster if it's being served in the DR...............choices, choices.

You COULD book the next cruise and do a b2b so you get that formal night the second time around.;)

Well, this last year, yes, it was a formal night. OTOH, if you and DD go alone to dinner, I am sure you will be warmly welcomed at the table. And I am sure you won't be the only football widow that evening. There will be a very large and uncomfortable crowd up at MUTS. To each their own, which is a wonderful aspect of cruising.

From what I recall the cruise starts on sat so I would assume sunday would be a formal night - You are going to get to see the super bowl on MUTS!...that should be very fun
