Parking in Jacksonville

We are sailing from Jacksonville in December and will be parking our car there while we are on the cruise. I need to know what the parking situation is and do they require cash or can you use your credit card. I also want to know if you pay upfront (so you don't have to worry about it when you return). I would also like to know if it's a "gated" parking area and how far is the parking from the terminal. Any information is greatly appreciated!

The parking is well set up in Jax. You pull around a loop to the terminal, drop off your luggage and then proceed to the parking lot. It is a parking lot and not a garage

 

It is a short walk back to the terminal.

It is very convenient. It is gated and I think you pay in advance and can use a credit card.
