volendam and Tropical depression Number 30

Looks like the volendam is taking a hit with the weather. It is just northeast of tropical depression 30 and is probably quite rocky at this time. Has anybody heard from anyone on board.

I believe the Volendam is in Curacao today, well south of it and will be heading towards the canal tomorrow so hopefully they will miss the track all together.

It IS TD 16 and, if named, will be called NOEL. And, yes, I hope it doesn't impact HMC for us.

Hope the reopical storm breaks up for everyone's cruises.

This storm will have an effect for any ships in the area of Cuba, Dominican Republic and the Bahama THIS week, but it shouldn't have a huge impact on next week's cruises.

 

Down here they are predicting pretty windy weather and high seas through the week .... we're already increasing wave heights.

 

It is set to be (hopefully) pretty much due East of my area on Thursday. So some rough seas may linger next week, but they won't be anything horrendous.

 

I'm just worried for anyone who hopes to visit HMC this week .... it would definitely have an impack on them.
