I wish there was a special place to group all these silly threads which do not help us get info on cruising. WOW! Do some people have a lot of spare time or what?

I'm sorry, did someone twist your arm and ask you to read it, or did the thread subject confuse you? Or are you simply having a bad dad??

...had to pay $12 for a bottle in Mexico - I can't imagine paying $12 for ANYTHING in Mexico!

:) I LOVE your posts. Especially when they involve me shopping and getting a free gift for doing so!!!! What's not for a girl to love?? I am imagining buying boxes of the wonderful chocolates served in Pinnacle after dinner and then you will give me a gift for that purchase???? Probably a copy of :( the latest diet plan!!! :D

 

I agree that there is almost nothing in Mexico for which I would pay $12..... only thing is when we resupply ourselves with penicillin, amoxycillan etc

Get rid of the cheap junk and let me shop at Brian's store.

 

I would have bought several place settings of the flatware they used in the Pinnacle Grill. I tried to find it online and have not been able to find the pattern. (I did get the manufacturer's name from the back of the flatware.)

Yes, I have OCEANS of spare time, and I'll enjoy it any mad dog way I want!

 

Just what sort of information do you want? What to wear on Tuxedo Night? Why do suites cost more than inside cabins? Do you have to use real money in the casinos? (No, Iknick. Down, boy.) Do they have drinks for free in the bars on free drink night?

 

Please. Why are you so against irreverence or levity?

Okay Brian......It's official!!.....you now run ALL of HAL's gift shops.....Your pay is $250,000.00 a year and all the free HAL cruises you can take!!! (to make sure that they are set up the way you like) and 20 weeks paid vacation. 401k and benefits are to be determined upon start date (But they will be great, don't worry). Thank You, Chef Nancy;)

I know how you feel Jake - I've been shopping for furniture for my balcony here at home and keep finding myself looking for the comfy lounge chairs that were on my verandah on the O-Dam - I guess that's just one more thing for us to sell at my shops (w/ free shipping, of course...)

 

Thanks for the offer Golfgrl - Where do I sign?!? I should drop my resume off at the HAL offices this week before I board Amsterdam. I'll need a couple of assistants to help me supervise the shops - perhaps you and S7S can help me out? Think of the employee discounts!!!

 

BTW - I work for a mutual fund firm (ZZzzzzzz) Now you know why I post so much during the weekdays....
