I do get asked, so here's my chance to spill the beans.....

Surprisingly, it has nothing to do with email or being long winded (which I am guilty of BTW)

 

When a we lad many years ago I was a very funny eater. the only thing I wanted in my school lunch was sandwhiches made with spam (or klick) for years.

 

Then 20 years later came the technology age and all the negativity towards e mail spam etc. Seemed like it's time had come for the spotlight, and someone had to rise up and defend it's honor. So I decided to regurgitate that mysterious meatlike gelatin covered goop that I grew up on and show the world that all spam isn't evil.

 

That's the origin of "spamwhiches". In retrospect should have named myself after our dog like so many other folks do.
