First time with RCCL

This will be my 5th cruise but frist with RCCL, therefore I feel like a first timer again! How strict are they with the dinner attire? Will a shirt and tie work for formal night or is a jacket required? How about on the smart casual night? We are on a 5 day cruse on the Navigator in Dec. and I would like to pack as little as I can! Any other info about RCCL or Navigator would be greatly appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

many men will be wearing a shirt and tie on the formal night, it's no problem.

But you'll be more comfortable wth a jacket. You've never needed a jacket on any of your other cruises?

They are not strict

Sharp casual night you will see many types of clothing. You will see many of the women wearing slacks or dressy capris and tops or casual dresses or sundresses. Many of the men will be wearing Docker type pants and dress shirts without a tie.
