bobnsandi Posted December 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2007 is on sale at http://www.williams-sonoma.com.:) Generally available in bulk at your local health food store, too. We are big fans of using ginger to help settle stomachs while cruising on "bumpy" seas. We found out that the kitchens on most ships have ginger, and the waiters were happy to supply chopped ginger to our table. Not for the faint-hearted, but you may want to chew on some of the root itself when feeling really queasy.

Toss it into a cup of boiling water, ginger tea aint half bad. :)

When we had a boat on the Great Lakes, we always kept ginger snaps on board. Well, if we eat ginger snaps and drink ginger tea, only good things can follow. Happy Holidays to everyone!
