Cruise Questions

A couple of Q'S for the fount of knowledge on this board:

 

1) What are the cancellation and refund policies like for crusie vacations?

 

2) Cannot decide between the medeteranian or Aussieland for a feb cruise. Any suggestions?

 

3) I am looking at Costa (Concordia, Serena) or MSC (Musica)? Anyone have experience with both lines that can compare them for me?

1. If you are asking about cruise lines at the time of booking a deposit is required and the amount varies by cruise line. You can easily find the amount for the cruise lines you are considering by either looking at their web site or contacting them. In most cases they are 100% fully refundable. Arond 75 days prior to your cruise the final payment is due. Again, look at the specific lines for their rules.

 

2. In Feburary, cruising around Australia/New Zealand is certainly a popular time. I would wait until say the April time frame for the Med in terms of the weather.

 

3. I cannot help you with your third question.

1. Check the website for the lines you are considering. Each line makes their own rules. Also, if you are using a TA check on their policies. Some charge a cancelation fee.
