Has anyone visited Turtle Beach lately?

Hi!

 

I am going on a cruise in 2 weeks and will be visiting St Kitts. I was planning to take a taxi to the Turtle Beach to hang out on the beach and hopefully see the monkeys.

 

I heard a couple of years ago, there was a significant hurricane damage on that beach. Is it back to normal? Is the restaurant open there?

If you are looking for the "real" Turtle Beach, then you will have to look for the Reggae Beach Bar. The owner of Turtle Beach, Gary Perriera, sold Turtle Beach last year to a development company and has since opened up Reggae Beach Bar. I was there last fall, and it is just as nice, if not better than the old Turtle Beach Bar
