I've found that the nightlife depends on the passengers. I've been on some ships with wild nights and others without.

The DJ is usually accomodating, within reason, to the varied tastes in music.

I tend to be a late nighter, and like to party, and have never had trouble finding fun at night.

As DJ Dale said it depends on the passengers. Having said that a June 8 cruise should have a lot of young people on it. Check out the roll call.

On our previous Dawn cruise Dazzles night club seemed to attact a young crowd, and many people your age participated in karoake in Dazzles lounge. Also popular was Spinnakers.

Have a great cruise. We are sailing this same itinerary on the Dawn in August. Let us know how you made out.

You should have a great crowd in June.

Check your "daily" every day for the night life and then check out the lounges in the evening.

You will also have the opportunity during the day, at the pool, to find out where the "hotties" will be spending the evening;)

Our first cruise on the Dawn had many young passengers in Dazzles...they were great:)

Have a great time!

It also depends on what you mean by "wild and rowdy." The answer may be yes, but within reason. This isn't "spring break" and there is a limit to just how wild and rowdy anyone can be onboard without disrupting the cruise for others.

There will almost certainly be plenty of nice and attactive young women to meet. There will be plenty of opportunities for dancing, partying, and having a good time. The lounges and night clubs are a great place to hang out in the evening. I'm sure you'll have a great time. Just do keep in mind that not everyone will want to be as wild and rowdy as you might, that they also are paying passengers, and that the cruise line has rules about behavior. As long as you don't go overboard (either figuratively or literally), you should be able to have a great time and enjoy a good party atmosphere. The beginning of June should be an excellent time for lounging around the pools and checking out the "sights" during the day.

Night life for a 19 year old is going to be between slim and none. It is going to consist of whatever the OP and his friends make it because they are not old enough for the clubs or able to drink. There is always the casino.

IMO the worst ages to cruse are those early college years until you hit about 24 or so, becuase the activities are greared toward younger kids and older adults.

Yes you will have fun, but it is not going to be like the scene in a college town at night.

From what I know, they can order 1 beer or wine glass (no mixed drinks) at a time IF their parents (who must be travelling with him) sign a waiver.

Also, the official rule is 21 years old or older in the bars after 11pm but from my experience, they will let 18-21 years old get in there without a problem.

"Company policy dictates that a passenger under 21 years of age must be accompanied in the same or connecting stateroom by a passenger 21 years or older who expressly agrees to be responsible for the under 21 passenger throughout the cruise."

I hope someone else is coming also
