Dexysgirl Posted March 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Can anybody give me some information on how to get to the airport in San Juan from the cruise port. I am in the process of booking flights and need an idea of times. Thanks
Quadsd Posted March 4, 2008 #2 Share Posted March 4, 2008 We just got a cab. I think it was $20.
Rare Host CJSKIDS Posted March 4, 2008 #3 Share Posted March 4, 2008 You can simply take a taxi there and back, book a car/taxi service on your own or use Princess transfers. The airport is about 20 minutes from the port. Princess tells you not to book a flight prior to 11 or 11:30 am. Yes, if all goes well you can make an earlier flight but this is the suggested time to give yourself some breathing room.
Colo Cruiser Posted March 4, 2008 #4 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Cab as stated around $18-$20. :)
turbo46032 Posted March 4, 2008 #5 Share Posted March 4, 2008 To make life easier, many pier to airport taxis are GMC or similar size larger vans, so they can easily accomodate larger parties with lots of luggage. For 4 people and a ton of luggage we paid $25. Lots of cabs are available. The ride is about 20-30 minutes but goes thru quite a bit of traffic - it's an interesting drive, suffice to say :-)
smoosh21 Posted March 4, 2008 #6 Share Posted March 4, 2008 It doesn't take long at all, but give yourself some time in case of traffic.
