Urgent Help Needed-birth Certs.

Please help! We leave in 4 days. Friend can not find passport or certified birth cert. She has 2 copies of birth certs, but not certified. What are options?

If she lives in the same city whch she was born, as i do my guess is she can walk into the office of vital statistics and get one. I called my local office, they said i can order via phone or walk in. I ran down on my lunch hour left 30 minutes later with my birth certificate in hand :)

If had lost his passport, he may be able to find help at the passport office. Hopefully he has his passport number somewhere. I would call the Passport office first thing monday morning.

This is true for where I live. For me to get a certified copy of my birth certificate, I would need to visit the local Health Department. However, that does only work because I was born in the same town.
