Mariner Facelift?? Drydock?? Ship Update??

We last went on the Mariner December 2006. Have there been any updates to the ships cabins, carpets, restaurants, etc? I heard something about new mattresses? Thanks

We were on the Mariner last week. Last time was Nov.2006, a month before you. I noticed that the ship seemed in better condition than it was in 2006. I didn't notice the chipped tiles and worn carpet that I noticed last time. The new bedding is wonderful. I slept so much better than last time. I think the ship is very well maintained. In fact, they swapped out our toilet seat during our cruise. We didn't complain, but it was loose. Apparently our steward noticed it and took care of it.

The Mariner was in drydock for a week last year, end of April 2007 if I remember correctly. She looked great in June 2007 and hopefully just as good this June.:)
