Formal Night on 3 Day ?

Hi, I'm a new member. I'm going on the Caribbean Princess, 5/8/2008, 3 day cruise. Will they have a formal night ?

We have not been on a 3 day cruise before, however according to Princess's "Cruise Answer Book" a cruise of 2 to 6 days has 1 formal night.

Do you have a day at sea? If so, that's probably when you'll have formal night.

yes - we did three day coastal cruise last year, and we had one formal night, this is a chance for Princess to see everyone dress up - plus take their picture and sell them.

 

We did notice many people did not dress up and opted for the Horizon court for dinner.

I noticed that on the first repo I did in September 2006 on the Dawn the formal night was listed as formal dress in the Patter. On my repo in September 2007 on the Coral it was listed as formal "optional" in the Patter. Ship by ship decision?
