Globaliser Posted November 4, 2009 #51 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Any idea where Air Transat will be out?I have no information, but my guess is that if Air Transat ever flies to Heathrow again, it will be allocated a place at Terminal 4. phabric Posted November 4, 2009 #52 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Since Terminal 2 will be demolisted soon, I was wondering if they mention in the British papers or elsewhere which terminals the airlines will be using when the terminal is demolished. Globaliser Posted November 4, 2009 #53 Share Posted November 4, 2009 Since Terminal 2 will be demolisted soon, I was wondering if they mention in the British papers or elsewhere which terminals the airlines will be using when the terminal is demolished. All of the move destinations of T2 airlines are now known and easily locatable. See, for example, here. Airlines have been moving out of T2 for many months now. This isn't an overnight thing. You keep asking about Air Transat. But Air Transat is not currently a Heathrow airline, and there is no guarantee that it will fly to Heathrow again. That is probably why there is no public information about this. If and when its northern summer plans are firmed up, I am sure that there will then be terminal information available.

As TS/Air Transat are currently NOT operating to Heathrow, it's really a moot point.

scottbee Posted November 6, 2009 #57 Share Posted November 6, 2009 About how long is walk from Terminal 1 (United) to the Underground station? It's a bit abstract, but this google map of central Heathrow shows how compact the T1/2/3 area is. It's probably less than 200 metres from the main part of T1 (in the NE corner) to the central T1/2/3 subway station.
