debt Posted June 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Hi! We are going to Rome, Sicily, Naples and Florence. Any restaurant recommendations? NovoCentro in Pallermo was terrific!
threeofus Posted June 9, 2008 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Take a look at the Europe board - you may find a lot of reviews there.
CAT GIRL Posted June 9, 2008 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2008 I have no specific recommendations but I can say that we never had a bad meal for the three days we were in Rome. Wandering around and picking one out was half the fun.
barbarah33 Posted June 9, 2008 #5 Share Posted June 9, 2008 Brandy's in Naples - home of the margarita pizza and wonderful!! It's an easy walk from the dock. In Rome I'm not saying to eat there but if you go to the Spanish Steps as you look at them to the left there is a McDonalds. No big sign or anything - just the 'golden' arch in marble on the building. Go into it -you follow a hallway/tunnel with statues, marble, plants, etc. I PROMISE you it will be the fanciest McDonalds you will ever visit. (And it's not a bad place to go if you want to use the facilities, wash your hands, etc.) I can't remember the name of any of the places we ate in Florence. As another poster said though - in all of Italy we never once had a bad meal - the food and service were wonderful everywhere!!
