Holiday Cruise Wear

Hi gals ;)

I was in my closet the other day looking at my formal holiday dresses, and it brought a smile to my face because most of them I have worn on a cruise. And I simply cannot part with them. I guess my post to you is, do you look in your closet and "see" clothes that remind you of your cruises? One of my dresses in particular is a velvet material, black, floor length, empire waist with a satin ribbon around the bodice. It is simplistic, yet lovely. I saw that dress and just smiled. ;)

Hi Janet:) missed this post...it is very nice........yes all my new clothes over the last couple of years....well, I guess that makes them "not so new anymore" LOL

But they are my "dressy outfits" and yes...when I look at them....I smile:D

Actually, I have a sad face on one of them:( .....my first CENTURY cruise in May 2003....on the 2nd formal night I wore a black silk shantung suit....it doesn't fit now.......I took 3 cruises THIS year....and between Jan and now....(OCT) I think I have put on almost 25 pounds:eek: ....I tried that suit on......I cannot zip the slacks anymore.........oooyyyy
