We just got our edocs for our Jan 9th cruise and it hit us that we are really going on this cruise. We are so excited especially since this is our first one.

Jason-Good for you. You should ask about the fuel surcharge (they might do away with it for sailings the first of the year) and if NCL can do anything for you since numbers are way down. We are going on the Pearl for the holidays and we got two cabins for the price of one. Good luck and enjoy.

When we made our final payment since the cruise is for our anniversary they said there would be a cake waiting for us in our cabin. When she asked if there was anything else she could do, I said jokingly she could upgrade us to a nicer suite and she said you never know.

I know what you mean. Obviously we knew we were going and all, but something about getting that final confirmation makes it seem that much more real. We should have a good time because it's our first cruise and our first time in a suite.

We are sailing on the Gem,Jan 25. We made final payment a few days ago and can't wait to get our e-docs. How long before we get them does anyone know.

Since our edoc link opened up with 70 days left before our trip, I would say usually at the 70 day mark.

I guess that the repeaters know enough not to print the whole thing. I have quite a stack with all of my other confirmations. It is really getting closer and I am concerned about the experience.

We booked an AE suite so we are hoping that the room and the extras that come with booking a suite is just like everyone has said it would be.

Thanks we are very excited about this. At first we were questioning if splurging on an AE suite is worth it or not, but from what other have told us, we won't be disapointed.

Thanks. Since we splurged and booked the AE suite we made this a combo anniversary/Christmas gift to each other. While we won't have much to open from each other on Christmas, we will still have something to look forward to after the holidays are over.
