S&D Posted December 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2008 Hi everyone, Just wondering how the problems in Thailand may impact on anyone's travel plans for the next year or so, I see there are a few Princess itineraries which take in Bangkok, I wonder if they will maybe re route or dock elsewhere for a while? We love Bangkok, and have done this itinerary 3 times so far with Princess, such a shame they have unrest there, when they are just the most wonderfully welcoming and gentle people. Happy cruising!! Druke I Posted December 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted December 2, 2008 I don't think in the long run it will significantly affect itineraries. There are many troubled spots in the world that periodically flare up, and the cruise lines adjust as needed. The cruise lines are constantly evaluating (and re-evaluating) their itineraries and scheduled port calls.
paul929207 Posted December 3, 2008 #3 Share Posted December 3, 2008 I am sure Princess (& other lines) are monitoring the situation in Bangkok. It appears the problems are subsiding for now.
