Administrators Rare CC Help Michell Posted January 14, 2009 Administrators #1 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Hi, all, We're trying to decide what to do on St. Thomas in April, and the Godfrey versus Sonny thing came up. The trouble is -- the link I had for Sonny isn't working now -- and even when I Google I can't get back a result for anything but old threads here at CC. Anyone know if Sonny's still in business? That might make this an easier decision!

mamaza Posted January 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Don't forget Papa Bear tours: www.havefunwithus.net We loved him and he really gives one of the more complete and longer tours.
K&S Posted January 14, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 14, 2009 That Papa Bear tour looks great. It covers the things we like doing. We enjoy snorkeling, so will probably go to Sapphire Beach. We'll be there later this month. Any other tips?
Sgt. Jeff Posted January 14, 2009 #6 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Well, PapaBears best buddy is Henry Christopher with EEE Tours. He is awesome!!!! www.eeetours.com
TwinCruiserMom Posted January 15, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 15, 2009 We have done Papa Bear and Godfrey and I can highly recommend them both!
Woodmnky Posted January 18, 2009 #8 Share Posted January 18, 2009 Did tour with Sunny Liston Tours on Jan 2, 2009. Very nice tour. First beach we were taken to was Coki beach, it was very crowded and not especially appealing. No one wanted to get off the bus, so we were then taken to Sapphire beach which was beautiful (and at a resort). We stayed for about two hours and the snorkeling was nice. I would highly recommend this tour. There were 6 of us the day that we went, but there was only one other small ship in port, some of the other tours that we saw and passed seemed to be much more crowded. Sailor Gal Posted January 19, 2009 #9 Share Posted January 19, 2009 We've done Sonny and Godfrey. Prefer Godfrey. On Sonny tour he likes to get everyone singing on board and he shouts on his terrible microphone. We thought this would be fun as we had a large group - but after a while it was obnoxious. Hopefully he's fixed this. Tours were identical and both were reliable and a good value.
hopelea Posted January 19, 2009 #10 Share Posted January 19, 2009 Did Sonny's Tour in Nov '08. It was too loud for my family. I was so happy to get back on the ship. I wouldn't do his tour again.
tomsmom Posted January 20, 2009 #11 Share Posted January 20, 2009 We also found Sonny's tour with the loud music and singing to be to much for us. We were ready to jump off the truck after awhile. Guess everyone likes something different.
jkloni Posted January 20, 2009 #12 Share Posted January 20, 2009 We loved Sunny's music. So much so that he mailed me a CD because I couldn't buy it here. I've enjoyed both tours - but have used Sunny 3 or 4 times. Both are good tours. Kathy
oc323 Posted January 21, 2009 #13 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I have used Godfrey for the past three years and have always found him professional and prompt. He and Sonny are very good friends.... They are both in business as I just returned Jan9th 2009. They cover for each other on occassion.

Who is Godfrey and what is the name of his tour? I'll be going very soon so need to make a decision.
