sophiecruiser Posted January 19, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2009 Looking to rent a car in Feb. for the day. There will be 5 of us - want to head to Lucayan National Park for the day and not pay the NCL $100 pp (or whatever they charge!) Has anyone had a good/bad experience renting a vehicle and driving to Lucayan National Park? Thanks!
boldbill67 Posted January 21, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I rented a car last year...it was a breeze. Rental office at the port. You can haggle prices a bit, but will end up around $60.00. Don't forget to drive on the "wrong" side of the road! Have fun.

buckeyefrank Posted January 21, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2009 DW and I will be there in April and are looking to do the same thing. We are looking to spend a few hours at gold rock beach, maybe go through the caves across the street, drive to the marketplace, get some conch fritters, etc and then head back to the ship. For anyone that is familiar with GBI, is there parking around the gold rock beach area?
