newmexicoNita Posted January 20, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 20, 2009 Does anyone know what kind of shows the NCL Sprit has? they have 2 production shows, a magician, 2nd City and I can't remember the others. We have cruised so often the shows are the last thing we think much about. We usually will see a couple. That's it. One thing they did not have, which disappointed me, a comedian. GORDONCHICK Posted January 21, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 21, 2009 We went to two shows. The first was the crew talent show which was pretty good. The last night, we had some kind of cajun musician. He was not our cup of tea at all. He wasn't bad, but we just didn't enjoy him and his music. garycarla Posted January 21, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 21, 2009 Based on some of the mini reviews posted over the past few weeks, they have either great shows, marginal shows, or don't bother shows. Amazing on different people have different opinions.
npb1894 Posted January 21, 2009 #5 Share Posted January 21, 2009 We were on the Spirit in April, they had a Broadway type show, with songs from different musicals, a show called "On the Radio", which was all different eras of music. They also had the crew talent show. I believe there were some magicians and some others, but I only went to the broadway and the radio show. They were both good and we all enjoyed them. Shows how different we see things: we went to the "On the Radio" show, had expected to see a little more variety of music from different eras, but it was still ok, many people walked out (I think that is rude) and others we talked to thought it was just so so at best. nolaAlive Posted January 21, 2009 #7 Share Posted January 21, 2009 You can scroll through the Dailys to see what kind of shows they had on the Spirit Christmas cruise. It is safe to ignore any Holiday themed ones. ;) http://www.zydecocruiser.com/NCLSprit08/dailys/index.htm or the rest of pics from that voyage: http://www.zydecocruiser.com/NCLSprit08/index.htm
