balcony partitions

Does anybody know if the partitions on the aft balconys on Adventure of the Seas can be opened if you have two cabins next to each other?

I've booked 7688 corner aft and am thinking of getting the cabin next to it as well. Even though they are not "connecting" I was wondering if the balcony partition can be opened. The RC rep said "no" so I didnt book. Is she correct?

Thanks

You won't need to open the partitions (if they even opened, which they don't!)--those balconies are huge. Just invite your neighbors to your balcony through your room. And, you won't lose your privacy by having folks on your balcony when you may not want them there!
