Green splats on Spirit deck plan

Does anybody know what the green circles and splats (stars?) stand for on the Spririt (and other NCL ships) deck plans. For example on Deck 13 they're all over the place.

 

Also, while I have your attention, where's the best place to get a good old fashioned GIN martini on the Spirit?

I have wondered the same thing. At first, I thought it was just an architect symbol for a plant, but now I am not sure. I will be watching for the definitive answer.

I thought those were to indicate that the deck is an outdoor one (yes, stylized greenery, but with the meaning that this is an outdoor space)?

I wonder the same thing, however, there in the atrium and Bliss nightclub, so I dont think those areas are outside

I think that they are there to represent plants, tables, chairs and stools, posts, etc. They only appear to be noted in the public spaces.

 

Sorry I can't help with the martini question.

They are, very approximate, indications of plants around the ship. Yes, even on the indoor locations.

it's the plant life, but when we were on..the plants had been replaced with Christmas decorations...so i don't have too many photos of plants.

Thanks for your ideas. I think the plant location theory makes lots of sense.
