Eurodam upgrade ?

Just recieved an email - we had booked a VF-guarantee on the Eurodam- HAL is offering an upgrade to a suite for $299 per person -however, after checking our info they've assigned us to VA7002 (as far forward as you can go)- any opnions or thoughts would be appreciated especially if you've been in a forward cabin. Is this a good price for a suite? Thanks in advance for responding.

A real, Delux Veranda Suite? An SA/SB/SC? For $300 per person? Take it. I don't like to spend $$$, and I would grab that in a heartbeat.

Or a semi-suite? The SS/SY/SZ type? That I couldn't advise on.

Thanks for your opinion -- It's an SS-SZ offer as of now- and the assigned cabin is the VA 7002

I took an upgrade to an SZ and ended up with an SS for $189pp on a 12 day cruise. I thought it was worth it and I was in the same situation. I had already been moved up to a VA. You probably know this basically gets you a nicer bathroom, much bigger balcony and larger room, but not the other goodies.

I would not do it. It is the same type of cabin in a different location. Also, it is too far forward, if the seas get rough, being that far forward will subject you to more motion.

An SS is a much bigger cabin. I would definitely take their offer.
